Covid19 (Coronavirus) Updates
At Lowell CHC, we are committed to keeping our patients up to date on the latest news related to Covid19 (Coronavirus). We will continue to update this page as new information becomes available. For the latest recommendations on what you can do to protect your health and the health of our community, plus information and guidelines, visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website.
Following the state’s lead, we have significantly reduced our on-site operations at 161 Jackson Street to contain the spread of COVID-19. The majority of appointments are being conducted by telephone (telehealth). Please read below for important patient information if you do need to visit the Health Center or have a telehealth appointment.
Appointments at the Health Center
Please call 978.937.9700 before coming in for a scheduled appointment, when feeling sick, or when arriving after 5 p.m. Please do not walk-in without a confirmed appointment. This will help prevent exposure to COVID-19 (coronavirus). Patients should enter through 161 Jackson Street. To keep everyone safe, we will be screening you as you enter the lobby. We will ask if you or a family member have traveled to another country, or have a cough, fever, or shortness of breath. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this difficult time. We must work together to limit the spread of COVID-19.
Appointments via Telephone
When you have a visit via telephone, a nurse or someone from our Call Center will be calling your prior to that visit. They can answer any questions you might have. Please call 978.937.9700 before coming to the Health Center, since many visits are now via telephone.
