Covid19 (Coronavirus) Updates

Covid-19 Updates

At Lowell CHC, we are committed to keeping our patients up to date on the latest news related to Covid19 (Coronavirus). We will continue to update this page as new information becomes available.

For recommendations on what you can do to protect your health and the health of our community, and the latest information and guidelines, visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website

COMMUNITY RESOURCES

We have compiled a list of community resources to help you and your family navigate various challenges associated with COVID-19 (updated: 3.24.20). We will update this regularly as new information becomes available.

PATIENT INFORMATION

Following the state’s lead, we are taking these steps to contain the spread of COVID-19:

  • If you are a patient, we ask you to call the Health Center at 978.937.9700 before coming in (for a scheduled appointment, or if you are feeling sick) to limit exposure. We also have protocols in place to isolate and treat those symptomatic patients who do present at the Health Center. (see additional information below for what to do when you arrive)
  • We have suspended hosting all outside groups at the Health Center until further notice.
  • Also until further notice, we are suspending all work-related travel to conferences, events, and meetings.

IMPORTANT PATIENT NOTICE: Please call before coming in for a scheduled appointment, when feeling sick, or when arriving after 5 p.m. Please do not walk-in without a confirmed appointment. This will help prevent exposure to COVID-19 (coronavirus).

Patients should enter through 161 Jackson Street. To keep everyone safe, we will be screening you as you enter the lobby. We will ask if you or a family member have traveled to another country, or have a cough, fever, or shortness of breath. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this difficult time. We must work together to limit the spread of COVID-19.
